It has for me, a little. I was never a fan of Islam, to be honest i didnt like them at all, but i must say, after meeting so many, i have learned to see that almost all muslims are good people, just that few who want to blow you up. I think Rf has been a very positive experience, when i joined, i never hoped to gain anything, i just wanted to share my opinion, seems like it turned out to give me in return.

I think it's had an effect on my view of atheism. I have a lot less respect for atheism but at the same time, I'm less bothered by it. This is probably because it poses much less of a threat to religion than I imagined.

I have learned that the biggest threat to theism is theism.

You just managed to crystallize in 11 words a thought that had been struggling inside of me for sometime. I have become alarmed at how much animosity can exist between theists -- and how much they can perceive each other as threats. Indeed, in some cases, how much they actually seem to need to perceive each other as threats. Fortunately, that is not true of all theists.

I definately believe RF has impacted me in regards to religion. I LOVE to learn about all of them, and it is just about impossible to find good enviroments where that is possible. RF provides that enviroment. What amazes me is that it doesn't only cultivate the right enviroment, but RF seems successfully protected from negativity by the mods as well. What is even more amazing is that RF just seems to attract awsome people! 99% of the people who are on this forum are simply wonderful people... and brilliant too.

I learned that as well. It's developed into: I have learned that the biggest threat to people are people.

RF has reinforced and strengthened my belief in diversity.
