Here is a thread to share your experiences of God. 'God' in this thread includes anything that stood out as a significant religious/mystical experience to you personally.

I thought this could compliment the God concepts thread which was a great idea.

Also, if you want you could add some minor detail as to what may have contributed to opening you to the experience. There are many things that people do that are associated with the capacity to induce religious experiences. Meditation (or silent prayer) and the use of entheogens are known to be two of the most potent. Ecstatic trances, devotional worship, fasting, compassionate acts, deep reflection, etc. are all well known too. Were any of these involved?
