Hi, all would you kindly post what you think about the following:
“Looking back, I realize that Aden was my first stop on a long, exciting and instructive journey of exploration into the Islamic world. At subsequent stops, my eyes would be opened to a culture based on honor, dignity and value of every human being, as well as tolerance and quest for learning – standards that I later learned are deeply engrained in the Islamic religion .. "My discovery of Islam did not happen through sudden revelation, like discovering a box of treasures in the dark corner of an attic. Instead, gems of understanding surfaced one after another over time, with each discovery provoking new curiosity and questions .. "At subsequent milestones of my journey, I would learn that Islam, like my own Christian faith and the faith of Jews, is rooted in peace, harmony, family responsibility, interfaith respect, humility and equal justice for all humankind under one God. Islam is a universal, multicultural and multiracial religion. It proclaims the brotherhood and equality of all people, regardless of race, nationality, or religious faith.” - Paul Findley, Silent No More Welcome Back To Islam |

What comment do you expect? The quotation is totally accurate.

I think that's a well written paragraph, but I'm still an Atheist.
I'm also confused as to what sort of debate this is supposed to draw out.
