I am always amazed at the people who, upon examining the wonder, complexity and beauty of God's creation still cling tightly to the completely ridiculous theory of evolution. Their eyes have been truly blinded. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, as the Good Book says.

I know a girl who believes in Evolution, yet sees the beauty of Creation. The Universe is truly amazing, but I do not need God, nor Evolution to explain it regardless if one or both of those are true. Why can't the Universe just be?

To think that evoltion means that God is not the Creator is nonsensical to me.

Quantum theory does not deny God.

DNA does not deny God.

In Hinduism also.

The Absolute Reality or Brahman manifested creation from itself through the vibration of the first sound "Om". Since creation manifested from Brahman, Brahman is present in all of creation and all of creation is present in Brahman. The sound "Om" continues to vibrate through the cosmos. This "Om" or God is present everyhwere...in the elements, in the trees, animals, humans etc. That is why we see ourselves as one with nature, instead of seperate from it. The Bhagvad Gita also states that a true devotee is one who sees God in all beings.

I agree.

Evolution does cause problems if one wants to hold onto a peculiarly literal reading of Genesis though. So in joeboonda's case, his purposes prevent him from considering evolutionary theory as a viable model.

I am not a Bible reader, but I loved this quote (from Job:38 ?)......I guess I will have to read Job sometime.

I have to say that one of my passions is to look at every living thing around me, be it animal, bird, plant ot tree, and realize the wonder of God when I look at them........to see the wonderful diversity of creature, and to realise how little we humans are able to mimic life............

I often think of how boastful we are about the wonders we can achieve - and yet, we have never managed to create any form of life (not without having used some of Goid's spirit).
