US priests become Kenyan bishops in gay protest

The worldwide Anglican Church took a further step towards schism over homosexuality today with the ordination of two American Bishops to pastor to conservative US Anglicans under the jurisdiction of Kenya.
The Right Rev William Murdoch and the Right Rev Bill Atwood were consecrated at All Saints Cathedral in Nairobu by Kenya's Archbishop Benjamin Nzimbi.
The ordinations are valid but are expected to be counted as "irregular" by Lambeth Palace in London,

Sooner or later, the CoE and the other churches of the Anglican Communion are going to have to take a side: they'll either be with U.S. and Canadian churches or with the conservatives and their African hierarchies. Fundamentalists don't value diversity; they don't even allow diversity, so there's never going to be a solution where all these groups can be reconciled, unless the entire Anglican Communion caves in to their demands.

Looks like there well might be a new parting of the ways amongst Anglican/episcopal churches. With the "old Churches" on one side and The African ones on the other combined with a few outreach African supported Bishops.
Canterbury will try to prevent this, But liberal churches are very strong in America Canada and much of the UK. The Right wing African Churches are Just as determined on the other side.

Who knows Terry. We've been pronouned as good as split before and yet it did not happen. Frankly it is hard to see where this will end if we can't come to the communion rail together.
