I found this at my college on someone's desk.

I'll just recite a paragraph out of it.

------------

Death is like sex.

Confronting death is eerily as similar, powerful and mysterious an experience as sex, and fittingly so as one brings us into the world and the other out, they are among the only experiences that compare.

Having grown up in a funeral home, worked in a hospital, experienced love, war, drugs and book learning I though I was better prepared than most to face death but wasn't, I was a virgin.

*** is that?

If sex is similar to death, then he must not be a virgin.

Wouldn't you have to experience death, and DIE!!! to be able to compare it to anything??

rex: there are several types of death just like life. there is death to selfish desires that cause suffering. there is physical death. one can also murder his mind by taking drugs or being depressed. regrets, injustice, resentments and grudges are forms of death. evil acts are deadly.
one can also be dead to sin.
on the brighter side their are different life forms; plants, animals, humans, angels, and God. humans can start over or begin a new life. our body has life in it as will our ressurected body should we live after we die. hell is an abyss lacking love which even the devil thirsts for but cant receive ever once the world ends. humans in hell will never again experiece life, love or pleasure. that's the anethema of hell. humans on earth thirst for love even though they may not give it or act it, and can still receive it. love is free but sometimes conditional, which is sometimes necesssary. agape love is the best. everyone on earth is loved and receives love without fail. some deny love but get agape love anyway. there is no hate in God, just love, that's why he created an abyss for those who have rejected the call to love Him and others for selfish reasons. satan, once called lucifer, was the highest person in heaven second only to the Trinity, but because he wasn't satidfied with the second position and wanted to be Divine but too proud to worship a human-God, as humans are lower in the heirarchy than angels, he was removed or fell from heaven by the arch angel St. Michael as well as a third of the angels who fell with him for similar reasons. because heaven is eternally perfect and can't accomodate evil, the fallen angels reside in hell devoid of Love. purgatory is where those destined for heaven end up and are purged of their imperfections and prayed into heaven by those on earth, as nothing imperfect may enter heaven anymore. the difference being that angels, who are intelligences not human and have no real gender as we do, have only one chance to be perfect and like God they always choose good once created or evil. they are either pure evil or pure good. and, there are nine choirs of angels in heaven as mentioned in the bible. our guardian angels are on the bottom of the heirarchy. get to know ure guardian angel/s and name them as they will be your best friend next to God in heaven. develop a relationship with them. they do favors for me now and then, like slow time down when driving, wake me up in time for an appointment or mass. and message my prayers to God in a split second as they ascend to God and descend back to earth to be by my side.
