From what I've seen at a couple of churches now; in particular the Grace Cathedral of San Fransisco and the National Cathedral in Washington D.C.; the front doors, or the entrance of the Church has intricate story-telling doors. Does you Church have any? These are from the National Cathedral in Washington D.C. from my trip in November The Moses Door: ![]() ![]() The Abraham Door: ![]() ![]() Do the doors in your place of worship serve a special purpose? Are they decorated? Or plain? |

Plain solid wood door here. No real decoration at all. It's actually pretty much just a barn we blot in.

I think my mosque has the finest doors of all the mosques in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Becky! It's actually one thing I really enjoy looking at as well.

We have carved wooden doors that lead to the nave, but they are just designs -- no pictures. They're pretty, though.

Episcopal Churches typcially have red doors symbolizing the blood of Christ.

Doors that open and close and are made of wood. Oh, and they have locks on them too.
