I must confess to not being good at remembering proverbs...........apart from the silly practical ones, like "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" and one (which I had to look up, because I can never quote it correctly)......
"A little learning is a dangerous thing;
Drink deep, or taste not the Pierian spring;
For shallow Drafts intoxicate the brain
But drinking deeply sobers it again."

Alexander Pope's poem "Essay on Criticism". The only reason I remember it (or rather the meaning of it) is because I seem to be one who takes shallow draughts..........a jack of all trades, and a master of none.........
