Would a universal adoption of universalism be an acceptable global religion?

I say enlightenment/oneness as well as God because I believe that a non-theistic path can lead to the same place as a theistic one.

As to leading to the same place, sure? Believer or not we all depend upon the grace of God in whatever next existence there may be. There is no damnation and paradise. We're all stars in the presence of God, some are brighter and some are less bright, but all of us progress in that next world just as we did in this one. Regards, Scott

And if thine eyes be turned towards justice, choose thou for thy neighbor that which thou choosest for thyself. Epistle to the Son of the Wolf, p. 30 Blessed is he who preferreth his brother before himself. Tablets of Baha'u'llah, p. 71 And for the Hindu Faith, you can use: When a man sees that the God in himself is the same God in all that is, he hurts not himself by hurting others: then he goes to the highest Path. Bhagavad Gita (13.28) These two refute the common claim by certain Christians that "only Christianity expresses the Golden Rule in a positive manner, while every other religion only has a 'thou shalt not' formulation." Clearly these make nonsense of that particular chauvanism! Best regards, :-) Bruce Last edited by BruceDLimber; 01-30-2008 at 07:17 AM.. |

James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

For example,Bahai believes in heaven or hell, and does not mention reincarnation, this makes it skewed towards abrahamic faiths. What ur take on this. My thought is that "Bahai could not reconcile between Heaven\hell concept and Reincarnation"
