*** MOD POST *** The opening post of this thread clearly states what its purpose is: to determine the relative exposure people on this forum have had to Mormonism. This is not even a debate thread. Therefore, no further debate will be allowed. If anyone is interested in debating the merits or flaws of Mormonism, please start a new thread on the subject. Otherwise, I will be forced to close this thread entirely.

Guess this means you won't answer those questions I asked.... though truthfully I didn't think you would anyway Sorry to be such a disappointment, and failure, to you. Be assured that you are not the first and surely won't be the last. Both on the 'net and IRL. Obviously you have seen that I am as stubborn as you are and as you do ~ tend to stand by what I believe and don't back down. Unfortunately, as I've said before, I am a crappy communicator and tend to offend without meaning to. Ah well. I left this board for a couple months because of this.... maybe it should be permanent, but since there are only about 2 or 3 of you I am having trouble with at the moment, I'll probably go ahead and stick around for now ![]() You say most folks here seem to like you and your posts, and that I am the only user out of however many thousands (all active I'm sure ) who does not. I don't dislike you at all, though obviously you think that I do. It is true however, that I don't agree with much that you have to say... But why's that OK for most everyone else but not for me? Probably has a lot to do with my aforementioned crappy communication skills as well as my confrontational no-pulling-the-punches style of calling a spade a spade and actually SAYING that I don't agree and what it is I don't agree with. Oh... and questioning that which I want to question whether or not folks are willing to provide a straight answer.. Anyhow, now you see why I changed my user name to what it is now.... it fits me to a tee ![]() |

I had lots of Mormon friends who I went to Law School with. Not sure where that puts me on the spectrum, but as I have always said, they were a great representation of your faith, and one of the reasons I am rooting for you guys to be the winners of the supernatural lottery.
