Default The State of RF, April 2011 - Part 2

Wow, there's a lot of religions!

Since we can only have so many choices for a poll, I had to create a second poll to fit them all! If your faith wasn't listed in Part 1, hopefully it'll be here in Part 2!

Maybe a poll isn't the best way to do this....

That may be the case.

This is what I would do: Have a thread open for two weeks that invites members to identify their religion however they want and give just a sentence or two.

Example:

Christian

I believe that God will renew all things through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

===

Then, at the end of the two weeks, close the thread and review all the posts. You can represent all religions and count duplicates.

That's much better, IMHO, than just offering labels in a poll.

It's too bad space doesn't allow the whole poll to fit.

FYI - this thread is a continuation from Part 1. If you don't see your faith listed, look there: http://www.religiousforums.com/forum/comparative-religion/114272-state-rf-snapshot-time-april-2011-a.html

That sounds really interesting, too.

... but if that's what you'd do, then why aren't you doing it?

Because you're doing this.

Besides, I have no interest in it.

I chose none of the above, because I don't know what I believe and I change my mind sometimes from atheist to agnostic to deist to somewhat pantheist.

Dang it! I knew I should've put an apanagnostideist option on the poll!
