Why did God create the world in the first place (ritual, reject)

God knew what was going to happen (the fall) and that he would have to send his son to die so that only some could be saved and go to heaven!my question is that if he really was so loving why not just not create the world in the 1st place instead of creating one where half the people will end up in hell just so a few Christians can go to heaven???

Here's a brief version of an LDS answer: Before God created this world, we were all in a pre-existant world with him. We are all his spirit children, God was/is a glorified resurrected being. We wanted to become like him. He created this world for us to receive physical bodies and to be tested. We agreed to it and eagerly anticipated the chance to progress.

Somehow the fall was necessary to create an imperfect, mortal world. But Christ's mission was already in place to redeem men from the fall. The fall brought death into the world, and Christ's atonement saved us from physical death through the resurrection and from spiritual death by paying for our sins if we repent.

So each of us can come into this world, receive our body, and prove to ourselves our own worthiness. We will all have the opportunity to hear and accept or reject the Gospel and utilize the necessary ordinances for exaltation in heaven. We are responsible to do our best, but it will never be "enough", so Christ's grace fills in where we fall short. Beyond this life there will be more progression still.

I think that the doctrine of an eternal hell is a horrible teaching and I do not subscribe to it. Whether those who end up in Gehenna perish or are reconciled in the end I do not know, but most of the Christians were Apokatastasists in the 3rd and 4th centuries.

I am extreamly ignorant of LDS, do you use the bible?because it is not written there or is that through later revelation??

Yes, we use the Bible (the KJV), but we have three other volumes of scripture, so many of our beliefs are only alluded to in the Bible and expounded upon in our other scriptures.

That's probably one of the best consise answers I've heard.
