I am wondering, is the Epescopalian denomination usually a very open and tolerant towards other religions?
A local metaphysical store had an employee who is Epescoplain, and her husband the priest of a church. The priest would even come to this store to socialize with people of other faiths. He is even starting a group for those who went to this store frequently to keep the community part of it going, now that the store is closed. He even invited me to dinner with his family once, and even to his house for dinner. (I had to decline that as I just got off work, and was rather dirty, and my jeans had a very large rip in them.) Is this branch of Christianity usually this tolerant, or is it just them, the type of people the world desperatly needs more of?

I have found the Episcopal Church, on average, to be at least as open and accepting as any other group, if not more so.

It doesn't speak very highly of them, but they let me attend. I've found them to be pretty open to other ideas. In my experience, Episcopaleans usually fall right about half-way between RC and UU on the Tolerance Scale(TM).

Episcopalians are part of the Anglican Communion. and like the Church of England are in the main very liberal. They, as yet, are the only ones in the communion to have a female Primateand to have Gay priests.
This has caused some African members of the communion to say they will break away.
