Default Matthew 4:7
This verse comes from the story of the temptations of Jesus. Upon being tempted by Satan for the second time, Jesus refutes him with the following words:

"On the other hand, it is written, 'You shall not put the LORD your God to the test.' " (NASB)

Now, my question is this: Do you think that that Jesus' use of this passage from Deuteronomy is evidence for His divinity? Does it help give any more insight to this ongoing debate?

Any thoughts are welcome.

I think that would go under the "insanity" option... who they heck would say such things and lie to the authorities knowing it would mean torture and death, without being insane?

Or perhaps just a god? I think that most who do not believe in the trinity, think that Jesus is...something else. Not an angel, not God, but just some sort of powerful being. Does that sound wierd?
