Default New Era and Christianity – a study

While there are a lot of articles on the Internet (on Christian news and Christian forums) spitting out venom (with little knowledge of the facts) on traditions and beliefs of eastern countries like India (the concept of karma, reincarnation and more), it becomes more than important to clear out certain views on these front for the sake of a thousand readers who are being mislead.

One of the primary differences in New era and Christianity is in the concept of ‘good’ and ‘bad’. While the new era followers believe there’s nothing good or bad or nothing ‘wrong’ and ‘right’ (i.e. they believe ‘wrong’ lies in the eye of the beholder) , the Christians have a specific definition of what’s ‘good’ and ‘bad’ and the ‘right’ (things which ought to be done) and the ‘wrong’ (things which ought not to be done).

New era believers live life with the flow, rather than on specified boundaries of traditional Christianity. They are also open to worshiping other gods as they see god in everything. New era believes in reincarnation, while Christianity doesn’t. Like the Hindus and Buddhists, New era followers believe in the idea of Karma- you pay for what’s wrong in this life itself, if not, you will be made to pay for it in your reincarnations.

Unity is love so emphasis on religious differences, race or intolerance rather that the unity of God is a strange god indeed and can be a challenge for us to overcome so we need to invoke the unity of God in all things. God is within each one of us so the first step is to open our consciousness to the unity of His spiritual consciousness because God reveals Himself in the condition of love, which is a kind of spiritual and physical unity.
