Could prayer itself be considered a form of white magic? And ignore "ronstar".

Magic is not black, white, good, evil, etc.
magic is just magic. the good evil, etc. is from the user, not in what is being used. It is like fire. Fire by itself is not Good, nor evil, however it can be used for good or evil. Guns are another thing that are not good or evil. The good and evil come from the user.

Prayer is a petition that often results in a miracle, some may refer to it as magic
