An Orthodox friend sent me one once, and it's very good. I'm pretty sure it's available on Amazon. |

I'm not a Catholic, but i've found that the "Dummies" series is very good at producing introductory texts for most subjects. They are all written by experts.
Their Buddhism book was excellent as an introduction. I haven't read the Catholocism book, but i can only assume it reaches the same level of quality. http://www.amazon.com/Catholicism-Du...e=UTF8&s=books

I suggest Catholic Christianity by Peter Kreeft.

The best book on a introduction for the Catholic faith from a scriptural and historical perspective is called "Catholic and Christian By DR Alan Schreck.
Dr Schreck is a professor of theology and Church history at Franscian University of Steubenville. His book is easy to read and asnwers many misconceptions about the faith, and he uses scripture, the church documents, and the fathers of the church. His book touches on all the main areas of the Catholic faith. from salvation, to the saints, to Mary to the Mass etc. You will not be sorry if you read this. Good luck and God bless you in your studies in Jesus through Mary, Athanasius |
