Deliverance from this reality (choices, choice, easter)

I was wondering what other people think about this; when I consider how I have to face my life and obstacles that are placed in one's path i.e. job, money, woman etc and the tools that I have to deal with this predicament, it doesn't require the slightest bit of imagination to begin to think of other realities (fantasies) to create for oneself to help deal with the reality.

The problem here is that my mind slips into this fantasy which in no way aids my reality - I am constantly having to remind myself of my reality in spite of what my pysche wants to tell itself.

Sometimes your fantasy can aid in your reality. Your fantasy can let you know what you would rather have and in turn give you goals. Your fantasy can let you pick and choose between choices that are given to help bring your reality closer to your fantasy. For instance, my fantasy is to work in a monastery in the mountains and teach about the spirits. Just live, farm, teach. But I also want to be married. Therefore, from this fantasy I have chosen the path of becoming a religious studies professor of some sort and focus in eastern thought. It is not the same as my fantasy, but it is much different than becoming a business man for example. Whether I get my masters or doctorate will come to pass in the future, but my fantasy allows me to keep reaching for those goals.
