Kill Time
Friends,
If someone told you * KILL TIME*; what would you understand, and what would you do about it. Love & rgds n.b. This is more in line with *Kill the buddha, if he even comes in the way.*

To kill time, to me means to do something that will cause time to seem to go by faster... Like to keep yourself busy so you aren't bored if you are waiting for something.
I don't know what you are talking about though.

 In all reality I would find something to do until it was time to do whatever......

I understand "Kill time" to mean to make use of the time you have until something more desirable arrives. It is a means to an end.
The end should be the means itself.

I can't kill time it doesn't exist, all we have is this moment and when I try to kill it is gone and another moment has arrived and replaced it..... or not...

Friends,
To KILL TIME what was trying to get across is the concept of time. Time as Koan and Somkid expressed as that being past and future. PRESENt is not a part of time meaning if we are Present then time does not exists and when something does not exists then it is a dead thing; it is killed. BUT to be PRESENT is what needs to be done to KILL TIME. If you do a little excericise NOW that trying to be present / aware / concious and at the same time think? You will observe that the two does not go together. So, we need to make effort to be always present / concious / aware so that our mind does not go into the thinking mode to be absent from the present and live in that zone what we call time which exists as past and future.
