"Where is the Buddha?" (Jesus, Buddhism, Adam, Buddhism)

This Thai restaurant near us keeps a book by Ajahn Chah on the counter, and whenever I'm waiting to pick up supper I sit and read a little. I read something today that I want to share, but I didn't have anything to write it down with. He says:

Where is the Buddha?
In the Dhamma!
Where is the Dhamma?
In the Buddha!
Right here, now!
Where is the Sangha?
In the Dhamma!

The rest I have to paraphrase from memory, but he says the Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Sangha are in your mind. Some people take that casually, and say, "The Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Sangha are in my mind," but they don't understand; their practice isn't right. They don't have the kind of mind in which the Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Sangha should be found. First, you must have the kind of mind in which it's right to find the Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Sangha.

Now the question is what is the *MIND*?
There is no defination of that mind.
Mind is akin to a train of thoughts.
only when the thoughts stops does the mind is clear of all grabge and becomes a mirror.
It is this very mind that is what you refer to.
Yes, it takes effortless effort to reach that state.

Ajahn Chah's books and teachings are wonderful. When he came to London once he was asked this very longwinded question by a lady, who basically was showing off her intellectual knowledge of Buddhism. When she finally finished, he just asked "Do you meditate?" when she said "No" he replied, "Then, madam, you are like the lady who keeps chickens and every day goes in and picks up their droppings and not their eggs."
