The statement, "Now go and wash your bowls!" Refers to the "Everyday mind" this is the net result/achievement/aim of Zen.
A monk asked the master," What is the way?" The master replied, "Everyday mind is the way!"

So does this "everyday mind" means doing everyday business?

If doing everyday business is Zen then whouldn't it be said that sitting in front of the TV with a beer in hand is "Zen"?
