The Nichiren Order of North America will hold a Dharma Conference and 7th Year Memorial Service for the September 11, 2001 victims in NYC August 24-26, 2007. Information is available here:

Well, if you use the "active topics" feature, then it doesn't matter where a post is located. If you don't, then you only see what is in the forums you browse, yes. If someone is browsing the Buddhist forum, then they are my most likely target audience for a Buddhist conference and memorial service. As noted, anyone who wishes to participate is certainly welcome; however after doing this for a couple of decades, I pretty much know where the response is going to come from. This, along with the RF rules about debating in DIR forums, drove my choice of location for this topic.
