I'm trying to analyze an early piece of artwork. It depicts Yellow Tara (Norgyuma)
So anything anyone knows about Yellow Tara (I know basics, but not that much) or any general Buddhist symbols (any would be great!) would be most appreciated. Thanks so much ![]() Also, here's a complete list of the symbols in the piece, so if you know any of them in particular, that would be spectacular -two blue birds facing outward -jewel of enlightenment -lotus -incense burner or prayer wheel -small flowers -bracelets -necklaces -white nipples -dragon -Wheat? -Tulip/flower bud/conch shell ? -Six hands -Henna paint on palms -Striped pants -Flowered sash and armband -Beaded necklace – black, white, brown -Black cloth? -Cushion -Small, rectangular wooden object with writing on it -Teardrop on forehead (what is this called? I know but I'm drawing a blank) -Crown of Tibet? -Typical Buddhist physical symbolism (lines on neck, slanted eyes, large earlobes) -Open/half of same incense burner/prayer wheel (under right foot) -Two different hairstyles – long and curly AND in bun like Buddha -Clouds -Swan/other similar bird |

If you like, I'll take a picture of the artwork along with what I've found, so that you can see what I'm talking about
