No matter what faith you are we've all heard of John 3:16 its more or less the most famous verse in the entire bible.
I posted the whole verse so no one could accuse me of taking it out context. What I am getting at is that it would seem that the death of Jesus is not the only way to heaven. If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy. But if the unbeliever leaves, let him do so. A believing man or woman is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace. How do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or, how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife? ~ 1 Corinthians 7:12-16.

OBTW, dying is the only way to heaven.
Ec 12:7 and the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it. And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. Anyone who says he is going to heaven, is going to "give up the ghost" and die to get there! That is unless he doesn't believe Yeshua/Jesus. (another catch 22) Christians say if you don't believe in Jesus you can't be saved. What about believing what he said? Shalom

The passage of 1 Corinthians 7 is certainly enigmatic, but it just as certainly doesn't teach an alternative way of salvation. "Sanctification" in this case most likely indicates permission to take communion, for "we are called to live in peace." A believing spouse's family is permitted to take communion although only those with actual faith in Jesus are saved. Otherwise, why the rhetorical question, "How do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or, how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?" That question seems to imply that the unbelieving partner isn't saved.
Man, knowing what I don't know now, if I had been Paul's travelling companion, I'd have made sure that ALL his correspondence was saved so we'd know better what he was driving at in passages like these. Sheesh.

Reminds me of the old "Tonight Show" w/Johnny Carson the big turban sealed envelopes he places the envelope to his head and answers the question, then opens the envelope and reads the question. This then is the punch line of the joke! Harr, har. Shaul is telling us the answer to a question, we then conjure up the question. Fill in the blanks with twenty-five words or less and you may win a million dollar prize! Salvation for two at a beach front Hotel in Paradise. Be one of the first ten entrants and the winner gets a child in free. Hurry this offer expires the stroke before mid-night on--------------------. Now you know why I'm not a writer for a Comedian. Not funny!

Here's another alternative route;
Luke 10:25 And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” 26 He said to him, “What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?” 27 So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’[c] and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’”[d] 28 And He said to him, “You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.” Notice: No mention of Jesus at all, or acknowledgement thereof as a requirment for eternal life.
