However, I just don't find Scripture lacking in any way. Everything you need to know about yourself and God is right there, if you let the Spirit guide you into it's truth and meaning. Most who mock it have their own agenda of paranoia, arrogance and theophobia.

I have found this to be true - arrogance compounded by an odd mixture of stupidity and ignorance. These vices working together in disorganized dissonance distributes destitute, dubious deliberations concerning Scripture.

I do wish that the Bible included something against sexual exploitation and slavery, other than that it's practically perfect in every way. Perhaps a Dixie Chick Apocalypse would be helpful, along with a tribute to Willie.
