Perfect Bible? (translation, doctrine, catholic, Christian, Christ)

None of it is "perfect"......I believe the stories were originated from the sumerian record...(That's just me though..I guess)

I sometimes use the RSV (32 christian scholars of the highest eminence and backed by 50 cooperating denminations)......(translating from the earliest of manuscripts).....

I use others as well...Some have good hebrew/greek translations and lexicographical information. And some are more plain english renderings.

Sure did.
I learned that because you can support the statement, which is phrased specifically to start an argument, with a questionable source, you feel it is just fine and dandy to make said statement.

You have demonstrated that claiming to be better than that by association is just that, a claim.

The only reason he MAY have put (if there is any truth to that) the Urim and Thummim (seer stone) in a hat, would be to shade it from the light/sun, in order to see into the stone, just as we would dim a light in order to see a TV or a computer screen better.

I am blood related to Joseph Smith's brother Hyrum. I can assure you these men are not fakes. My wife has seen Hyrum. He appeared to her in the spirit. These are true men of God. To speak against them would be a dire mistake.

I did not speak against them. The father and law did. He was an eyewitness. I just quoted his writings, but thanks for the warning. I wouldn't not want something bad to happen to me. I was close, but the father in law made the " dire mistake". LOL

The mormon church has this "claim" in there offical records.

When someone attacks Joseph Smith, I feel compelled to defend him and also feel compelled to give the reason why. I will continue to mention my blood relation to that family as long as I feel a need. There are others on this forum too you know, who don't know my relation to Joseph Smith.

Would you not defend any of your relatives if their character was being attacked ?? My Smith blood begins to boil, even though I'm not a Smith I still have that direct blood claim to that family and that part of me comes out. I feel very very close to that family. I can't describe it any other way. It's as if I know them without having ever met them.

My wife was allowed to see Hyrum Smith in the spirit, which she needed to see in order to strenghthen her testimony. She said he was a lot less serious than Joseph Smith.

These are some of the best men the church has ever seen.
