Is Baptism Essential for Salvation into Heaven?
Do you believe the Bible says yes, baptism is 100% essential. Or that it's simply a nice or good thing, but not essential to enter heaven?
What do you think?

Although I think that people accepting Jesus should be baptized, I don't think it is always necessary. There are some who are not able to be baptized for health reasons or a lack of time (such as accepting on the death bed and so on).

Hello
Baptism is a symbolic act of what happened to your spirit on the cross. You were baptised into death. Meaning your spirit was made to die, together with Jesus on the cross. You were placed symbolically in a grave. Jesus placed us in a spiritual grave and he did this by uniting our spirit with his one on the cross, and then took it into death. Which also means your spirit existed then. He cant go back and do that again. When you are placed under the water it is symbolic for dying. Going into the place of the dead. When Jesus was resurrected from a spiritual death, so were you, that is what is symbolised when you come out of the water. You were then raised out of spiritual death. You were raised out of the kingdom of darkness and transferred into the kingdom of light. So baptism as we know it today is symbolic for what happened to you on the cross, and by being baptised you outwardly acknowledge what happened to you on the cross. It is intented to help you understand the significance of what happened there. But there is another baptism . Baptism with fire. Jesus said that he came here to start a fire and how he wished it was blasing already. You are saved out of this earth, which i believe is hell, by being baptised into it. You are living in this earth, your body being 'under' its physical law constraints. When you are lifted out of hell, earth, this planet, you are raised and return to heaven. If is only when you die to the principles of the world, when you sever association with the way the world thinks and opperates, that you are raised out from it,out into a heavenly state. Love Heneni

I agree with her to a point. Baptism is our entering into the one act of being buried with Christ and raised. but it is unnecessary for salvation, itself.

I'll agree with the others so far and say that it is not necessary. It's appropriate and not something that should be shrugged off but not necessary for salvation.
