This subject is not easily understood by most people because people have been taught that all go to heaven if they are Christians.
The Bride of Christ is the Spiritual Congregation of God. These have been ADOPTED by God to be Joint Heirs with Jesus of the Heavenly part of God's Kingdom, Rom 8:14-17,23, Eph 1:5.
This Bride of Christ is mentioned, in the Bible, by several names, Children of God, Sons of God,BORN AGAIN, ANOINTED, Conquerers, Chosen, Holy Ones, Kings and Priests, Little Flock,Sealed ones, Israel of God, New Creation.
This Bride of Jesus is numbered as 144,000, Rev 7:4, 14:1,3.
Notice that in Revelation, they are mentioned as Kings and Priests, that will rule 1,000 years, Rev 1:5,6, 5:9,10, 20:4-6, Rom 8:17.
In the first century, when the Christian Congregation was first being estabolished, ALL who became Christians became part of this Little Flock, Luke 12:32, Rom 8:28,29, Eph 1:12-14, John 1:12,13.
Paul mentions the Bride, 2Cor 11:2,3. John also, when he was recording things John the Baptist said, John 3:28,29. John the Baptist would not be part of this Congregation that was to be Joint Heirs with Jesus, because he died before Jesus did. At Jesus death the way was opened for people who live on earth to be Born Again, as Spirit Creatures, to heaven, John 3:3-8, 1Cor 15:50, 1John 3:2,3, Heb 3:1, Phil 3:14.
Since Revelation tells us these ones will be Kings and Priests, who will they rule over??
They will rule over the ones brought back in the great resurrection, of the good and bad, John 5:28,29, Acts 24:15. These are different because they can die again, but the ones resurrected in the First Resurrection cannot die again. These one are resurrected as Immortal spirit creatures, a New Creation, 1Cor 15:53,54, Gal 6:16, 2Cor 5:17.
They will rule over the earth during the Great Judgement Day of 1,000 years. During the Judgement Day the resurrected ones and the ones who come out of the Great Tribulation will learn to turn the earth into a paradise, and they will grow to perfection. Then God's original purpose will have been carried out, Gen 1:26-28, Isa 45:18, Ps 37:29, Isa 55:11.
Jesus, and the Bride of Christ will make up that New Heaven that will rule over the New Earth, Rev 21:1-4, 9,10, Isa 65:17-25.

In the beginning god had eyes for israel only. She on the other hand made eyes at everything else.

He divorced her. He turned his eyes instead on the gentiles, a group of prostitutes. He was trying to make a point to israel. The genitles were not his people, and they can be likened to protitutes. He united himself with them, and hence he now loves all, instead of just one, like a prostitute would do.

But when He united himself to the prostitute gentiles , it was not his intention for the gentiles to continue being prostitutes. They had to forsake all others and only have eyes for him. That unfortunately isnt happening. Instead the gentiles have hijacked religion, and is selling Jesus on every street corner and making money out of him. THey are prostituting Jesus. And that sound terrible, but without their evil intent to make money out of jesus, his name is being proclaimed all over the world! There are gentiles however who dont make a dime out of telling others about Jesus.

The bride of Jesus, whoever you might think she is..she is not prostituting Jesus, and she is not a prostitute herself.

Israel on the other hand, who was commiting adultery with every foreign god, is now having eyes for God, but god has divorced himself from her...so what came naturally to her, which was to commit adultery, is exactly what she is still doing. She is making eyes at a god that isnt her husband.

And it is exactly how god will save all of us. Depsite our natural inclination to always do the wrong thing..he has a plan to save us still.

In a nut shell what Jesus did on the cross, was change the gentiles into israelites, which are under no law, and change the israelites into gentiles, which are still under the law.

Dan I gave one example on this I believe it is post #6 in this thread. This is the parable of the wise and foolish virgins...This is telling us the believers (the church) to be ready because you do not know the hour when the Lord will return...He is represented as the groom in this particular scripture. Mat 25:1-13 Check post 72 I don't remember who wrote it but it is a good explanation.
