Im not quite sure your way of thinking is right in this regard. Its not whether the gentiles should mind, its exactly my point, they DONT mind being called the bride, when they are a collective group of people. They dont mind to all have spiritual intercourse with Jesus. Its not Isreal that is Ok with this concept, its the gentiles that never question why it is that they are OK with the fact that they and everybody else is the bride of Jesus, they dont seem to mind that Jesus 'loves' everybody, when we know its not OK to sleep around with more than one person.

Generally christians would stand firm against committing adultery fornication and idolatory, but when you ask them why they are OK with being the second third fourth and millionth bride of Jesus, they dont think twice about including themselves in this birde. Its not a matter of should they mind, it a fact that they dont seem to mind.

Like real prositutes.

Your metaphor is really muddled and confusing. Are you saying that there's more than one bride of Christ? Are we not all members of one Body -- the Church? Isn't that what the Bible tells us?

Even though it's true that I'm married, and only haave sex with my wife, it's also true that I love more people than just my wife. Jesus loves all people, but he is specially united to those who unite with him in the one Body.

Why would we mind being part of the Body of Christ?

The gentiles were never the people of god, so the gentiles are not reconciled prostitutes! They were having a ball with every idol they could come up with to ensure fertility, prosperity, power...you name it the gentiles did it and had sex with it.

When you have sex with someone you unite your body to that person. You become one with them. And when Jesus united himself with the gentile prostitutes on the cross they became one body with him.

They are now, since they follow Jesus and have acknowledged the grace that is theirs.

All are in Christ. We are all the bride (not brides).
I don't have a problem with being a gentile. BTW, what are you?
