That seems to be the message.

If the knowledge of evil is removed in order for people to be forever in damnation it does bring up some interesting inconsistancies.

It's inconsistent because you have it backwards here. The knowledge of good is removed so that people will only know evil and that is damnation.

If heaven, as you said, is the knowledge of only good, then what state would those in "hell" have if they had the knowledge of evil removed?

They don't have the knowledge of evil removed.

Humans cannot live forever while they have knowledge of good and evil. No one resurrected knows both good and evil, only one (good = heaven) or the other (evil = hell).

Yes, because they knew only God. Knowing of evil came only after they sinned. Now we know both good and evil because we see God's gifts in nature (like the sun on a good day) and evil (varying degrees)... like through a cloudy mirror. In the resurrection we will see it "face to face."
