2 John 1:9-10 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed.

We shouldn't let them preach their false doctrines in our house, and we shouldn't wish them God speed on their journey, for they are not doing God's work...

Before you talk about cultic missionaries, "cult" requires a definition. Otherwise you are blowing air through all your orifices at the same time . . . . speaking logically, not anatomically, of course.

I agree even though I still feel it is both arrogant and presumptuous of people to have the temerity to believe they are doing "god's work". My thinking is that in order to claim one is doing "god's work" it is not unreasonable to demand that person prove that "god" exists, otherwise they are just flying by the seat of their pants. Imho, that is not terribly wise but the enthusiasm for ideals is somewhat understandable.

This is just funny, since I have not had one "missionary" come to my home that did not preach about the bible and Jesus. No matter the denomination. They have all been Christians. Just what "cultic missionaries" are out there? I have yet to see a Hindu, Pagan, Buddhist, Scientologist, Luciferian, or any other non-Christian person come to my door and tell me what to believe. Christians seem to have that market cornered. So which of them should be considered "cultic" then?
