*I put this in the Biblical debate section because I am looking for Biblical arguments.
If the wages of sin is death and Christ died to conquer death then why do those who accept Christ still die?

Well, there is more than one kind of death, isn't there? There's physical death and then there's spiritual death. Even though one accepts Christ, one doesn't automatically stop sinning, therefore that sin will still bring about physical death. However, Jesus conquered both kinds of death, so that one's physical body may initially die, but one's spirit is spared from eternal separation from God (spiritual death) and eventually raised to life in a new body.
I'm not sure if this is a trick question, or if you are genuinely curious.

We die, because god need to seperate angels and fallen angel. Heaven and Hell.

The Bible says that you has he quickened (made alive), who were dead in trespasses and sins. Our spirit has been re-born, made alive, but our body still awaits its transformation when Christ returns for his saints. The whole creation groans and trevails until that time. Then there is that Tree of Life we don't have access to.
For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. |

I think we die in order that we might be resurrected and receive perfect, immortal bodies. It is, after all, only our physical bodies that die. Our spirits are eternal. I wouldn't want to live in my present body forever. I'd much prefer to have one that was not subject to disease or deterioration.

Read Romans, Paul addresses this question directly.
Basically, he explains that until Christ comes again we are still bound to the 'flesh'. Our bodies are still of the world, but our souls are free from death. So we have no fear of death. It's like when he says 'do not conform to the patterns of this world'. Our bodies are of the world, which is why we still sin after accepting Christ. After death, or after the second coming of Christ, we will be completely free. |

The body is weak and fragile and the world awaits to devour it. Immediately upon death the world sets upon it and does devour it. The spirit is like the wind.

Death seems to be a temporal punishment.

Not at all. Very few people in their 80s go out kicking and screaming. God has perfectly calibrated human lifespan to be not too short and not too long. Imagine if people lived to be as long as the bible says the antediluvian patriarchs did. You would have dictators such as Robert Mugabe holding his people in slave |
