Do Christians believe in personal revelation? (Jesus, ritual, salvation, tradition)

If all revelation comes from God then it cannot contradict itself. the apostles Oral traditions are divine revelation too(2 Thess 2:15) . So when there is apparent contradiction one must look deeper to find that there is no contradiction at all. If the apostles didn't have a problem with saying No new public revelation after Christ then we shouldn't. Part of the problem is we don't condemn visions we have many many miracles where the virgin Mary and saints and Jesus himself appear to people. They are private revelations. But Jesus is the fulfillment of all public revelation. There is no need for more revelation then Jesus. He is the eternal word made flesh. And he is the revelation. it all culminates in him. He gives himself, his revelation to the Church in apostolic times through written Scripture and oral apostolic tradition. These forms of public revelation were handed down to the Fathers from the apostles and given to the church to understand all truth. which is Christ Jesus.

see, you don't understand, It's not written down anywhere, it's spoken word only....

so like... yeah they don't need to prove it cause the apostle said it to them specifically without telling everyone else.
