But the language it hinges on is Greek and maybe Hebrew.

The Bible also refers to sexual intercourse as 'knowing' another. What exactly are you trying to prove? I don't think anyone would take 'seed' literally, especially the people who authored the Bible. Jesus was referred to as the 'lamb of God' many times in the Bible. OMG, Christians take the Bible literally and think he is a sheep, ROFL.
