Jesus Made me do it! 9 ¶ After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. Why did you tell him to be soooo depressing?; Joh 15:15 No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Yeshua, is his name.

I think there are people who choose not to believe something, whether it is denial or because they disagree with the premise. I choose to believe in God, where someone may choose not to believe.....How is that not a conscious decision?

For example, can you, Charity, choose not to believe in God, given that you now believe? Could you, even for a moment really become an atheist? Or could you, Charity, really choose to believe that Zeus is the real God instead of the one you believe in now? I don't see how that's possible if your beliefs are deeply held. I don't think you can simply will them to suddenly be different with a conscious decision.
