Question How Will Jesus Return To Earth?
Do all Christians believe that one day Jesus himself will return to Earth in a physical body?

I would really like to know what beliefs are held on this subject, and how Christians believe he will return - e.g. flying through the sky like superman (I have seen such drawings in certain Christian literature ), or just miraculously appearing out of thin air, or being born once more as a human baby?

What are your opinions about this?

I don't really know if he will be in an actual, physical body or not. The Bible never specifies on what he will look like when he comes again. It does say that he will return in the clouds, and the dead will be raised first, and then we'll all be judged. Then the believers will be caught up with him and brought to Heaven.

This is also suggestive:

Rev. 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

Rev. 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

It would have to be read in the wider context of course, but I wasn't going to quote quite that much in one post.

In the Baha'i view, the Christ Spirit already did return about a century and a half ago, with the new name both the Jewish and Christian scriptures promised!

So the "how" is very much available from historical documents.
