I have looked at a different website of Christadelphians and found a belief very interesting that Jesus is just human. In proverbs it says that to be able to understand is to gain insight into someone else's world. So i was wondering if someone could help me understand this passage Colossians 1: 15-18
Thanks so much Arrow

Col. 1. 15-20 15He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16For by[f] him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things were created through him and for him. 17And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. 19For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, 20and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross. It seems like here we have a Christology (= teaching about Christ) that explicitly says that he is a human being who was exactly the image of God, with God dwelling in Him especially and particularly in a way that no other human being is inhabited or used by God. We have a description here of a God-man.

My ? is how can a Christadelphian see Jesus as 100% human. If He is truly just human than He could not have existed since the creation of the world. Thats my point at least i just want to know how Christadelphians deviate from Jesus is 100% human and a 100% God.

There seems to me to be some similarity to the beliefs of JWs. There is a simple answer to the question i highlighted, but since it is Gnostic and thus irrevelant to the debate i won't go into it.

God was manifested in the essence of Christ when Jesus was incarnated and dwelt among us during His ministry. The reference to "firstborn" did not represent a physical birth, but Paul was emphasizing His standing and place of honor before God the Father. Paul was using the Hebrew way of saying someone was especially honored. This reference was used for Israeal (Exodus 4:22) and David (Psalm 89:27) as well, but Christ's honor before the Father is over all of creation and the universe. Although Christ manifest Himself physically to dwell with man and sacrifice Himself for the redemption of sin, He is not a physical being. He is a spiritual being and the Bible tells us in John 4:24, that God is Spirit and we are worship Him in spirit and in truth. God's spirit communes with our spirit througb Christ.
