Our Just Rewards (Jesus, Earth)

Matthew 16:27 states, "For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works." What does this mean to you? Will greater works result in a greater reward? Will Mother Teresa be given a greater reward than the guy who lives a decent, but not exemplary life? What kind of rewards do you think the Son of Man has in mind?

I truly don't know what types of rewards he has in mind. But I'm sure they're phenomenal, coming from the mind of Jesus. Interesting questions to ponder on.

I don't know that Mother Teresa would be rewarded more. That's a toughy. For one, a guy who lives a good life, but isn't as examplary, could be doing great things, but a) he's not getting exposure or b) he doesn't have the means to go to poor places and help starving children. I wouldn't necessarily say that Mother Teresa is better than the guy who treats his wife with respect and love, and brings up their children right, and talks to the lonely guy across the street, and stuff like that. She just had more exposure.

just a little joking around . . . truly, I cannot even imagine what the Lord has in store, but to be consistent with the Bible, I think the earth will be restored to the way it was in the garden and I will be able to live in paradise forever . . . being in constant mental, physical, and verbal contact with Jesus and all the Saints in Heaven . . . animals I belive will communicate with humans . . . the food will be great and will increasingly get better forever . . . I will see new colors . . . my love for God will increase perpetually . . . I will taste new tastes . . . most of all I won't struggle with sin, insecurities, and fear . . . I can't wait.
