Humans don't "conjure" up spirits. Revelation speaks of war that broke out in heaven. The Devil and his demonds battled with Jesus and his angels--the Devil did not prevail. The Devil and his demon angels were cast down to the earth where they remain to this day in spiritual darkness until their eventual destruction. Evil spirits are all around just waiting for a naive individual to get involved with them which is usually done through the occult. Evil spirits appear not through the power of any human--they do so through their own power. They continue to spread the original lie about death. God told Adam and Eve that they would positively die (and they did), but when people think they have spoken to/seen dead relatives, they believe the lie about not dying. What they fail to appreciate is that demons are pretending to be their dead loved ones. The Bible gives great caution when it comes to dealing with demons--they are powerful evil spirit creatures that should be avoided at all costs. If you ever come in contact, pray to God Jehovah for help.
