Yes, that is very hard to do. But not only did the ones who died, go to Heaven. They also chose their fate. Before they were born, they knew the sacrifice that would be made, some of them even sensed it enough to 'avoid' it, because they chose to. But the ones who died, did so to remind us of the futility of hatred.

I watched the city of New York come together in a way never before seen. Neighbors finally met their neighbors, and they joined each other instead of walking by each other never seeing the faces, or even knowing the person next door. Everything happens for our advancement, spiritually, it's not what happens that matters, it's how you react, that counts.

actually Dan, my question was much simpler than people have made it. I was not asking whether God caused the disasters, I was simply wondering why we thank Him for the nice things, but ignore all the nasty things that nature brings. Either they are all God's will, or they are all left to nature. If the latter, then why bother saying thank you just for the good bits

While there are given a number of examples of bad karma carrying over to this life, karma can also be positive in nature. For example, how did Mozart create piano concertos when he was only five years old? The answer is that he had four or five lifetimes as famous musicians precious to this life. A person who is born with a black body and experiences terrible prejudices, was probable once incarnated as a slave owner who treated his men terribly. The only way to stop the cycle is to react out of Love and not fear and hate.

Spirit,

You have got to elaborate on that statement. This is the second time I've seen you say something like that and I'm really curious about what you mean. Would you mind elaborating, please. Is this another way of stating that you believe in reincarnation or what?

Kathryn

yes, I believe in reincarnation. I believe that Jesus is the reincarnation of Adam. Jesus finished what was started with Adam. There are many verses in the bible that I could go dig up for you to show you how I came up with this. Jesus is also the reincarnation of Melchizedek, also came about from bible verses. What specificly would you like me to elaborate on?

Thanks. Where did all this come from? On what is it based? It is all new to me.

People who ran the church would actually extract and cut out the things from the Bible that they didn't like. An example of this is reincarnation. The bible used to be filled with references to reincarnation. In 505 AD. the Ecumenical Council made a decree to extract all references to reincarnation from the Bible. This is an "indisputable fact", for it is in the minutes of the meeting, which can be looked up in the appropriate historical reference book.

This is an historical fact! For in 533 AD, the Second Council of Constantinople issued a decree, which is in the historical record books to this fact! There are still references to reincarnation that they missed. One was John the Baptist, who was a past life of Elijah in the Jewish religion!

The negative ego believes that reincarnation is of the devil! Holy Spirit interprets this that the negative ego is the devil. The Church, who didn’t like these concepts because it did not allow them to control the people, removed the Bible passages referring to this.
