Let's get back to the question at hand. Do you disagree with my estimate, i.e., do you think that Jesus is significantly larger than a Unicorn and, if so, why? Also, why would we dare to even speculate about height when the Bible, presumably inspired, can't even get something as simple as Goliath straight?

Why was that not a serious suggestion? I have as much right to presume a Unicorn as you have to presume a resurrected fig tree killer. Maybe the foolishness lies in expecting serious suggestions to a question wholly unworthy of them.

Perhaps this would be more instructive: do you think that Jesus is bigger or smaller than Vishnu?

There is something to be learnt from any reply even if the tone and nature of the reply is not to your liking. For example, if you think Deut. is messing you around then ask yourself why you think he is doing so. Just a thought.

Anyway to get back on topic. I am under the impression that people in general are getting taller from one generation to the next. Therefore, it might be a safe assumption to say that Jesus was shorter than the average height of today.

It is senseless to start with Revelations and then extrapolate based on anthropological data.

I was just kind of ignoring Revelations. If we are just talking about Jesus then there is some evidence to suggest the man existed.

I wouldn't know of any sort of extrapolation based on anything when starting from Revelations that wasn't senseless

There are some here who would say the same about Jesus. This forum is open to all religions. That is the beauty of it. We have the ability to learn from each other. Debate is allowed, but not intolerance.

Just relax. You do not have to defend your beliefs, because we all respect your beliefs, but you in turn must respect the beliefs of others, or I'm afraid you will not feel very comfortable here.

And if you took the time to learn about Vishnu, you might find like I did that God's truth is everywhere. Don't let foreign language be the barrier that blinds you. Remember that God is not a name, it is a title. Open yourself to the idea, that everyone is actually talking about the same One Source, or whatever label they give Him. Father. Lord. Tao. Allah, Vishnu, Almighty, The One.

no doubt im in for another point added to my score for insults,im only stating such because it grieves me that your all godly after a sought yet you follow what i think are false deitys,i would NEVER say something so outrages unless i knew for a fact that what i say is true, i wish i could prove it but alas i cannot
