I dont think so. I really think its just an attempt to make the creation story seem scientifically possible. The verse :
4 For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by,or like a watch in the night. isnt meant to be taken literally, especially if its in pslams. |

How God experiences time isn't really relevent unless you're trying to claim - as someone was in another thread - that the Creation took place in a literal 7 days as experienced by humans, because the bible states that it took 7 days, and when you have no other yardstick to go by, you're inclined to measure things based on your personal experience. But then you're placing human constraints on the almighty,who - as we all know - is beyond human constraints. Or he should be, if he's actually all that.
The 'thousand years as one day' reference I think just implies that God is not constrained by human time frames - as well he shouldn't be - and as Druidus said, is a nice, big, round number. God, I would imagine, is capable of experiencing time in whatever fashion he chooses...he's God. ![]()
