During the "I believe in something but don't know what it is" phase of my life, God brought to me a boyfriend whose Dad was a preacher of a small campus church. He told me that I should never put my faith into any man's interpretation of the bible or join a church that does not allow me the freedom to visit other churches. But instead, to always search for the truth myself, and search for it EVERYWHERE I go.

So, I did that. I have found God's truth as the basis of every major religion, including even Wicca. Once you truly hear the voice of God, it becomes easier to discern the difference between God's message, and that which was added by man.

This is a quote from the old testament, and yet, there is a new testament. This is a perfect example of how the Bible can be quoted out of context to prove one person's view of the Truth. The Klu Klux Klan even uses the Bible to validate themselves.

The more outlandish charges in this thread are completely unsubstantiated. The idea that Constatnine burned all opposing Bibles at Nicea and produced a new edition is simply silly and hasn't got any evidence. There were no books omitted from the Bible, because it took centuries to close. There is no room in the historical record for these consipacies.

I was merely commenting on the content of those final 12 verses of Mark.
I think you know i`m not in agreement with Constantine having anything to do with the Bible in its present form.

Yeah, I was actually kind of surprised by the response; it didn't seem right . The big conspiracy theory in the thread revolved around the Emperor Constantine, so I was somewhat surprised to read a the response lol.
