No. Baha'i does mix some of both Islam and Hinduism concepts, but stands on it's own as a religion.

Baha'i came was born from Islam, just as Christianity was born from Judaism. Christianity is its own religion, just as Baha'i is its own.

Calling the Baha'i faith a sect of Islam is like calling Christianity a sect of Judiasm.
