Seems like our two religions are not so far apart
 Out of all Abrahamic religions, if i was ever going to be one, it would be a Baha'i.

Gita is not part of the "official" canon of Hinduism. It is not Veda. It is an excerpt from a poem, if truth be known.
However, it elucidates so many of the principles of Yoga and the Sanatana Dharma so clearly and succinctly that it has become a sort of de facto 'Bible'.

Welcome! I'm a little unsure how this has become a thread here except that as Baha'is we recognize that all the major religions have a common source.. So as Baha'is we urge friendship between peoples of all the religions. We also don't have any official position on HIndu scriptures per se. The statement by Drew above that Baha'u'llah instructed people to read the Gita is inaccurate... Baha'is recognize Krishna as a Manifestation of God and believe there have been many Manifestations in the past that are unknown today .. The most recent Manifestations for today we believe are the Bab and Baha'u'llah. - Art

If your space bar isn't working, use the mouse to mark a space anywhere on the screen, and then control-C to copy it. You can then hit control-V every time you want to insert a spece. Regards, Bruce
