The obligatory Prayers are appropriate to various times of day.

The Medium Obligatory prayer is most time-locked since it uses ablutions (washing) as part of the prayer. It is set to be performed at morning noon and night.

The Short Obligatory Prayer is to be said between noon and sunset. The Long prayer may be said anytime in the twenty-four hour day.

If one were to use all three prayers at their prescribed times the result would be obligatory prayer five times a day.

But the requirement is only ONE of the prayers once in a day.

Bahji is a beautiful place..It would be a nice place to visit along with Mount Carmel. Aren't they faced in about the same direction? Is there a certain Bahai compass that will tell the exact location of Bahji and the location in which the prayer should be delivered?

"Qiblih" is a term that refers to the place you face while praying.

In Islam, the Qiblih was originally Jerusalem, but Muhammad changed it later to Mecca.

For us, it's Bahji (in Israel)

For Jews, it's Jerusalem

For Christians it was Jerusalem also, though at least with Protestants that seems to have fallen off. I can't speak for the varieties of Catholicism, though. They are more linked to tradition, and might well still practice that one.

Yes! It is a nice place to visit and I think I can speak for many Baha'is that we love to visit it in our hearts and minds and visualize it as "a beautiful place"! Bahji actually means delight and was the name of the mansion that Baha'u'llah spent the last days on this earthly plane...

Mount Carmel is within a short distance... and easy driving range so they are close together... You can also see the planes of Galilee to the east from Bahji...
