Default My Conversion
Hi everyone,

I just recently accepted Baha'u'llah as the Manifestation of God for this day and age, so I'm fairly new to the faith. That doesn't mean I don't know enough about it though, as why would I have converted eh?

After abandoning Christianity, I developed my own ideas about God and theological ideals; and then a while ago found the Baha'i faith mirrored my preconceived ideas exactly.

Just wanted to say hi to everyone.

My first forum was CF, but I was referred here by AlanGurvey.

What kind of Christianity, and why'd you abandon it? (If you don't mind my asking, that is.)

I was raised Reformed myself. Then an atheist. Now a Baha'i for, hm, wow 25 years now?

I was a literalist/fundamentalist. Had I known about the Baha'i Faith prior to my transformation into a Liberal Christian, I would have been proclaiming Baha'u'llah the antichrist, etc.

I started to realized the Bible is symbolic. The next logical step, once I found, stared at it, and debated it, questioned it, tried to debunk it, turned away from it (but kept turning back) was the Baha'i Faith.
