I apologize. I never even considered this in a recent quick study of world religions.
I have some serious questions for any of you...who are in a religion based on aliens. 1. Do these religions come from aliens or are they based on people believing in aliens? 2. What do they/you believe about Heaven? 3. What do they/you believe about salvation or reconciliation to God? |

That seems about as useful as asking a theist whether his religion comes from god or is based on people believing in god.

1. I dunno? Maybe, maybe not. I think some may have, especially the Ancient Egyptian, Mayan and Aztec ones, as well as a few of the other ones.
2. Some believed it to be "in the sky", with clouds, this could be because of aliens, or because it's the easiest way to understand Heaven, which is somewhere outside of Earth. Saying something like "a different realm of existence" to a person in the bronze age, they'd've just stared at you - if it WAS possible to say such a thing - and 'in the clouds' would make it easier for people. I don't know if prophets of old truly meant in the clouds and in the sky is where God lives or not, for I am not a prophet of old. ![]() 3. Generally, people who believe that the gods of religions are aliens aliens will be atheists, or, will have a Pan/Panentheistic view of the Divine, and not some personal God, it would be more akin to Brahman (the indescribable essence of existence of Hinduism) or something similar, at a guess. They would not believe in a God of the Old Testament, New Testament, or Qur'an, to name a few. |
