Sounds like you are suffering there with the wieght of living ....Sad yes living is but the real meaning is not in thoughts but the life inside your body.....I suppose I consider myself an agnostic but at the end of the day ist just another name like athiesm, catholism, christianism, hinduism, all the isms are purely system based beliefs from someone else..secondhand if you like.

I dont like religion either. Its evil. It causes way too many problems in this world to be good. I mean people kill and are killed because, in the word of George Carlin, "They are invoved in an arguement over who has the better imaginary Freind." The spanish Inquisition and the salem witch burnings along with the crusades and WWII are all good examples to back up my "Religion is evil" theory. It gives hope and shelters us from the fact that we will die, but it also blinds us and makes us irational. If you look back on history Gods and Demons were created by man to explain things we feared or didnt understand, and now the only thing we fear is death. It is in our nature to be self destructive and religion is the ultimate form.

This is a quote pertaining to how men (and women) need some satisfaction that they (sadly) feel the physical world cannot give. I personally, and I am sure many other atheists and agnostics as well, do not feel the need to "extract satisfaction from reality" and so then do not invoke supra-real entities in order to feel cherished.
