No no. You're thinking of monotheism.
Absolute monism is the belief that the Universe comprises a single, undifferentiated, attributeless Thing/Consciousness; that objective Reality consists entirely of a single entity. Our subjective perception of multiple, individual conscious beings and of countless, assorted 'things' is seen as a subjective illusion. Absolute Monism is the core belief of the Hindu philosophy of Advaita Vedanta. |
